8/27/87:
Okay so good news bad news time.

Good news:
I'm starting a new comic, it starts Friday.
It's called The Fine Line.
Unlike Iris it is going to be more punch line/short story arc driven opposed to the long complex story that Iris is.

Bad news:
In order to have time to work on The Fine Line I'm going to have to slow down Iris to updating just once a week on Monday, The Fine Line will take the Friday slot.
Hopeful this will be temporary and sometime next year Iris will be back to updating twice a week.
